I Was the Side Character

Vivian Lark’s life was an open book – or rather, a bestselling Webtoon she’d created. She’d written the tragic Archduke Holden Vossberg, given him a backstory plucked from her own deepest heartache, and then watched, powerless, as she was transported into the world of her own creation. Now, she’s merely a scholarship student at the prestigious Eldenmoor Academy, a side character in her own grand narrative. But when Holden starts looking at her, not with the programmed indifference of a fictional hero, but with a gaze that sees *her*, and speaks of memories that shouldn't exist, Vivian realizes her story is veering wildly off script. The line between author and character blurs, and as Holden unravels the fabric of his reality, Vivian must choose: remain a silent observer, or rewrite their destiny, even if it means confronting the very pain she sought to escape.
