Counterfeit Candy

Enter Gece — a restorer working out of a crumbling Kuzguncuk workshop, one missed payment away from losing the only thing her family left her. She walks into Aras's office at exactly the wrong moment, gets grabbed by the arm, and finds herself introduced to the entire company as his fiancée. She refuses. He puts money on the table. She signs. The rules are simple: perform the perfect couple, keep emotions out of it, don't break the plan. The plan breaks immediately. Now Gece is living in Aras's sterile glass-and-metal residence, leaving traces everywhere she goes — a paint stain on the counter, a plant on the balcony, warmth in rooms that never had any. And Aras, who has spent years varnishing over everything real about himself, is starting to crack. Gece knows what's underneath. It's her job to find out. A smart romantic comedy about two people who mistake each other for problems — and slowly discover they're the solution.
