Bone Deep

The mist in the Scottish Highlands doesn't just obscure the landscape; it buries the truth. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Rowan Sinclair arrives at Blackmore Castle expecting a routine crypt excavation. Instead, she uncovers skeletons bearing the haunting DNA markers of her own ancestry. Rowan realizes the ruins are not just a tomb, but a sanctuary of blood. Alistair Blackmore, the reclusive master of the crumbling estate, is haunted by his name. He summoned Rowan to exhume the ritualistic horrors his predecessors left behind. As the line between investigator and subject blurs, a dark, carnal tether pulls them together—a magnetism rooted in trauma and ancient prophecy. In the shadows of the crypts, where the air tastes of iron and damp earth, they must navigate a legacy of slaughter. Will they break the cycle of the Blackmore curse, or will they become the latest artifacts buried beneath a castle that demands blood?
